                                            Cingsiang Oolong Tea is also known as “Four Season Spring”.  It is a small leafed tea that ripens very early used for making white tea.  The tea plant itself is in the medium-large range with thick branches and buds.  The bud is a pink color and the leaves have a spindle shape that tends towards a point at both ends.  The fleshy and glossy leaf is a pale green with thin and sharp sawtooth edges.  The tree is quite hardy, has a long picking season and a high output as well.  As this tea buds very early and has a long picking season, the tealeaves made from the spring picking are an inky green color with a distinctive fragrance.  The brew is a clear golden color, very fragrant and its taste lingers on the tongue.  This is a Taiwan specialty tea with great fragrance and taste.
