Introduction This tea plant tends to spread laterally with a tendency to be upright. It has a high density of large buds that have a slight purplish tint to their green. The hairs on the tea are not as dense as Cingsin Oolongs and don’t detach as easily during the tea making process. The short hairs are therefore quite evident on the finished tea. The leaves are large and oval in shape with the jagged edge more spread out. The leaf itself is on the thick side with a rich glossy green color. As the tea tree is quite hardy and adapts well to the environment, its high output and quality have made it a favorite with consumers. The brew from this Taiwan specialty tea has a fragrance and flavor that lingers.
