COMUCAP

Founded in 1993 to provide its members with greater economic opportunities for them and their families, COMUPCAP has 254 members and brings together 16 groups of women from a range of areas in the area of La Paz, Honduras. COMUCAP provides a range of services to its members that help them overcome poverty. These include literacy programs, technical advice in organic agriculture, radio programs, political advocacy, grant proposal workshops and fundraising for affiliated groups, agricultural lending programs and land buying programs, and small business support for selling products like organic coffee.
